It was suggested that ultra-processed food should not be advertised
LMP wants to ensure that from January 1, 2027, it will not be possible to advertise what is unhealthy, the opposition party has therefore submitted a resolution proposal to the Parliament on ultra-processed foods.
Mária Szendefy, a member of the national presidency of the LMP, said at her press conference on Friday, which was also broadcast online: they recommend the government to prepare a bill that would no longer allow the advertising of ultra-processed foods from the above date. During the transition period, it would be mandatory to indicate on the packaging of such products that their regular consumption can lead to serious health damage, similar to tobacco products – he explained.
