A survey was carried out on pesticides in fish ponds
A comprehensive survey was carried out on what pesticides and pharmaceutical residues are found in fish ponds in Hungary and acan be found in the meat of fish that are fed there. Health risks were not covered by the survey of the HappyFish project.
During the research presented by Laboratorium.hu, more than 400 kinds of pesticides and 100 kinds of drug residues were searched in the fish and in the fish ponds.
In the water of 6 lakes, 12 pesticides, 3 pesticide degradation products and 4 drug residues were found. (MTI)
