Growth in retail sales accelerated in the Czech Republic
In July, annual growth was up 5.6 percent from June’s 2.2 percent growth in retail sales in the Czech Republic – the Czech Statistical Office (CSÚ) reported in Prague.
The calendar effect adjusted growth was 4.4 percent. In July this year one more working day was than last year.
The fastest growing sales are still online sales and the mail order services continued to increase as well.
Monthly growth was 0.7 percent in July. (Kokes János, MTI)
