Employment increased, and the unemployment rate fell in the United States in February
The total number of non-agricultural employees increased by 678 thousand in February, but was still 2.1 million or 1.4 percent lower than its pre-pandemic level in February 2020. The number of jobs grew broadly during the month, with growth in leisure and hospitality, professional and business services, healthcare and construction leading the way. (MTI)
