With its Christmas advertisement, Lidl made a splash of frosted holidays
The star of this year’s Christmas is a teddy bear who became a real star thanks to social media. He even steps away from his family for the sake of the celebrity world. But then you change your mind!
Most FMCG companies and food chains came out with nice, somewhat syrupy Christmas ads this year, but Lidl is also on a different path. The main character of their short film this year is a teddy bear, who was made a star by chance and a badly messed up Lidl sweater. The teddy bear thoroughly enjoys all the joys of being a celebrity, but in the end, of course, love wins. Anyone who likes the sometimes slightly wry humor and the fact that Christmas is a crooked mirror to the over-filtered world of celebrities, will love this commercial.
