That’s the way Hungarian are planning to save a lot
Hungarian internet users are not too optimistic about the rest of the year, more than three-quarters of them expect their financial situation to deteriorate – mfor.hu points out based on a recent research.

Most people try to save on durabels
Most people plan to save on clothes, shoes, travel and cultural programs, as well as on the purchase of consumer durables, according to the representative survey that GKID conducted on behalf of eMAG. The research also reveals that almost sixty percent of Hungarian internet users raising children plan to buy school supplies online and offline, the main attraction of online purchasing being the larger than usual range and comparability of prices.
The vast majority of adult Hungarian internet users and online shoppers are not very optimistic about the rest of the year: 38-38 percent of them (76 percent in total) expect their financial situation to deteriorate slightly or significantly for the rest of the year, while for unchanged conditions 19 their percentage matters, and only 6 percent are expected to improve – the GKID reveals from a representative survey of adult Internet users.
In the first half of 2022, by the way, more than half of the respondents experienced a slight (40 percent) and significant (16 percent) deterioration in their financial situation, and nearly a third (31 percent) considered it unchanged – 13 percent reported an improvement.
