These are the latest Home Office trends
In recent years, home furnishing habits have been thoroughly rewritten, since with hybrid working we also had to make room for a new living space: the home office. Nowadays, it has become a trend to create a work corner that is unique and inspiring, but does not break the harmony of the apartment. With the help of the popular interior designer Tímea Hadnagy, LG Hungary has now summarized what trends will surround the home office in 2024, and what creative solutions and tools we can use to spice up our home office.
Since the number of working days spent at home is already more in the case of many companies than those spent in the office, it is worth paying at least as much attention to the design of the home office station as to the office environment. According to Hadnagy Tímea, the two most important factors of a study corner or study room at home – regardless of year and design – are functionality and comfort, and when designing a study corner, we should consider our needs along these two aspects.
“The most important thing we have to decide is whether the work corner or room will be used for daily work or only periodically. While the former should consist of fixed, individually tailored elements, a periodic work table is characterized by easy disassembly. Based on this, the next question is, do we need a high-performance desktop or is a laptop sufficient”
The size and arrangement of the work table also depends on whether the station is intended for permanent or temporary use, but according to Tímea, a table top size of 120×170 cm should definitely be considered.
