Hungary is self-sufficient from turkey meat
Turkey meat producers have been challenged not only this year by declining catering and hotel consumption due to the coronavirus pandemic, but also by the re-emergence of bird flu. Nevertheless, production has been able to keep pace with domestic consumption, which is at the forefront of Europe’s per capita consumption of turkey meat.
Turkey meat, which is rich in nutrients and high in protein, extremely low in fat, carbohydrates and energy, also tastes different from chicken meat, so it is worth tasting it with children as soon as possible. (NAK)
