Mid-year report
According to guild president Balázs Erdélyi, there have been so many changes in the first half of 2024 that it is worth giving a fresh overview of the situation.

“Currently we have 18 sponsors supporting our work and we are still negotiating with new partners. This year NISSAN has become our Official Mobility Partner and discussions are underway about a fleet discount for guild members. In 2023 we organised three training courses for pastry chefs, as part of the IKK teacher training scheme.
In spring we received lots of applications for participating in our training courses. However, we haven’t been able to start any of these yet, mainly due to over-complicated administrative procedures.
There have been great changes at the Foundation for Artisan Confectionery: Zsuzsa Andrásné Kemény resigned from her position as chairman of the board of trustees and the general assembly elected Mária Lusztigh as new president.
In March we attended the first meeting of the Tourism Advisory Board at the Ministry for National Economy. The board will work in cooperation with the Hungarian Tourism Agency (MTÜ).
Finally some really good news: the Cake of Hungary competition has been included in the Hungarian Repository of Values!” //
