Several million inspections are performed for secure food supply every year

Only the comprehensive and proactive monitoring of the entire food chain can guarantee the sales of safe food products, therefore millions of tests are carried out in laboratories across the country – Bognár Lajos said in Budapest.

Bognár Lajos, the Deputy Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture (FM) in charge of the food chain surveillance, praised the activities of the food chain supervisory bodies of the counties on Wednesday, at the opening ceremony of the two-day long Hungalimentaria scientific conference and trade exhibition National.
