European overview of fish production
Fish production in Europe has increased significantly in recent years, agrarszektor.hu wrote. Eurostat recorded an increase in aquaculture production of over 10 percent in several European countries between 2011 and 2019, although there were countries where productivity did not change and in some cases even declined sharply. In Hungary, the organization registered an increase in production in line with the EU average.
The volume of fish production in Europe has increased enormously in recent times. Between 2011 and 2019, several European countries recorded significant increases of over 10 percent, although there were also countries with a similarly significant decline in production, according to Eurostat.
