European Commission: Hungary’s digital development has improved
According to DESI’s 2019 data showing the development of the digital economy and society, Hungary’s performance over the past few years has improved at a pace similar to the EU average, the European Commission announced in its report.
According to the report, Hungary performs best on the basis of broadband interconnection, slightly above the EU average.
Hungary is in the twelfth place in the 5G preparedness indicator and occupies 14th place in Internet access. Fixed line broadband coverage continues to reach 94 percent of households, with high-speed broadband coverage reaching 87 percent. (MTI)
