European Commission: Hungary has reached the peak of growth
Hungary is approaching the peak of a cyclical growth period, according to an analysis published in the European Winter Package of the European Semester, in which the European Commission considers it necessary to revise economic policy in order to increase productivity, increase convergence and prevent unfavorable external economic conditions.
In its annual review of the economic and social priorities of the Union published by the Member States, the European Commission stated that the strong economic growth in Hungary created favorable conditions for introducing reforms aimed at improving productivity, enhancing the resilience of the economy and increasing convergence capacity.
