European Commission: women still earn 16 percent less than men on average
There has been some improvement over last year, but women in the European Union still earn on average 16 percent less than men, the European Commission announced on Monday.
The improvement was only 0.2 percentage points, according to the information.
The Brussels body issued a communication on the occasion of the European Day of Equal Remuneration, which takes place on 4 November this year. (MTI)
