ESG shift in HR: equality takes a back seat, environmental protection comes to the fore
According to the SAP SuccessFactors 2025 trend report, the focus of HR has shifted considerably in the ESG landscape: while social aspects are weakening, environmental sustainability is pushing forward.

Diversity, equality, inclusion and belonging (DEI&B) was a leading HR priority in 2024, but this year many companies have scaled back their objectives or have taken a back seat altogether. At the same time there is a growing focus on environmental sustainability, with green issues moving from 9th to 6th place on the list of HR priorities. //
