Value, accessibility and responsibility all in one place: ALDI – low prices, high quality, more stores
In a challenging environment ALDI focused on providing as many benefits as possible to its customers in 2024.
“Our commitment to the Hungarian market is demonstrated by the opening of 10 new stores, making our value for money products and services available to hundreds of thousands more consumers”, says Bernhard Haider, country manager of ALDI Magyarország Élelmiszer Bt.

Expanding product selection, lower prices and coupon promotions for bigger savings
We implemented three coupon campaigns during the year, offering discounts up to 15% on the total purchase value. ALDI installed three-tier shelving in the fruit and vegetable sections of stores, which makes shopping more comfortable and provides nearly 40% more space for products – as a result we added nearly 50 new items to our fruit and vegetable selection last year. “We are proud to have won the Fresh Bakery Retailer of the Year award for the second time and the Dairy Retailer of the Year award in 2024”, adds Bernhard Haider.
200 new IT jobs and solar panels at every third ALDI
Our IT subsidiary, ALDI International IT Services Kft. continues to grow dynamically, increasing its workforce by a third last year and creating 200 new jobs across the country. ALDI also continues to install solar panels, installing solar power systems at 46 more stores nationwide to supplement our existing 18 solar power systems. Last year we also doubled the size of our of e-truck fleet. (x)
