IKEA expects strong year-end sales
Online sales, which accounted for 18 percent of total sales in November, contributed significantly to the results.
During the spring phase of the coronavirus pandemic, three IKEA stores in Hungary were closed for 47 days. At that time, only home delivery and the “click and take over” service worked, but these could not completely replace the turnover of in-store purchases, which is the company’s main source of revenue, they indicated.
