Valentine’s Day spendings skyrocketed in the past ten years
The number of Valentine’s Day spending in Hungary has increased by more than 381 percent in the last decade – this is more than double the European average – origo wrote.
Sentimental shoppers are spending more on Valentine’s Day than ever before: spending on it has increased by 180 percent in Europe over the past decade. Valentine’s Day is also becoming more and more popular among Hungarians, last year our compatriots spent more than 10 billion HUF more in this period than in 2011. (origo)
