ITM has carried out its traditional Easter inspection
A traditional Easter consumer protection inspection commissioned by the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (ITM) found the composition of only one of the 78 inspected products to be objectionable. A fine could be imposed on the manufacturer of the product, as the company was already sued last year for high salinity, the ministry told MTI.
ITM’s food and chemical laboratory inspects typical products for the festive period from year to year. Once again, the main aspects of the investigation were whether the goods intended for consumption met the requirements of the Hungarian Food Book and whether the content indicated on the product labels corresponded to reality.
