The döner may be endangered because of a planned EU rule
The Turkish fast food developed in the former West Berlin may be endangered because of a planned EU rule – the German newspaper Bild wrote.
According to the report, the Environment Committee of the European Parliament (EP) initiated pressure from the Greens and Socialists to prohibit the use of phosphate in the production of döner meat because of health risks. If the EP accepts the position of the committee, the whole sector may be endangered. (MTI)
