Analysts: the performance of the Hungarian economy is balanced and exceededs pre-pandemic levels
The performance of the Hungarian economy in the second quarter exceeded not only the level of the second quarter of 2019, but also of the last quarter before the pandemic, the fourth quarter of 2019, and the growth was relatively balanced, covering all areas.
The Central Statistical Office (KSH) confirmed that gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 17.9 percent in the second quarter of this year from a year earlier and by 2.7 percent from the previous quarter. According to raw data, second-quarter GDP was 2.2 percent higher than in the second quarter of 2019. (MTI)
