Analysts: GDP growth by the end of 2020 may indicate a faster-than-expected recovery
Gross domestic product (GDP) growth in the fourth quarter of last year became higher than the analysts’ expectations. It suggests a much higher-than-expected recovery capacity in the economy, meaning a rapid recovery and projections how long the restrictions will last – analysts told MTI commented on the preliminary GDP data.
According to the first estimate released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Tuesday, Hungary’s gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 1.1 percent in the fourth quarter of last year compared to the previous quarter and decreased by 3.7 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
