Analysts: positive changes in the labor market situation

According to the analysts of TakarékBank and ING, labor market situation changed favorably in May-July. However, they believe that unimployment rate can be close to 11 percent for the end of the year. The Ministry of National Economy (NGM) in its communication sent to MTI emphasized: employment rate among the 15-64 year olds is on a four and a half year peak.

According to the datas of the Central Statistical Office (KSH)  released on Tuesday, in May-July this year, the number of unemployed was 459 thousand, which resulted in a 10.5 percent unemployment rate. The male unemployment rate increased by 0.3 percentage points to 11 percent, while the unemployment rate for women decreased by 0.9 percentage points to 9.9 percent in a year.

According to datas of the Central Statistical Office, in May-July 3 million 908 thousand people were employed, 76 thousand more than a year before. (MTI)
