Analysts: the dynamic rise in earnings continued
Wage growth continued to be dynamic in April, and a shortage of labor could force employers to raise further wages for the rest of the year. On the demand side, strong wage outflows reinforce the risk of persistently high inflation, analysts told MTI.
According to a report released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Friday, the average gross earnings of full-time employees in April were 15.2 percent higher and the net average earnings calculated taking into account discounts were 15.9 percent higher than a year before. Regular average gross earnings were 14.1 percent higher than in April last year. (MTI)
