Analysts: GDP growth outperformed expectations in the second quarter
The second quarter GDP growth has outperformed market expectations. Analysts interviewed by MTI are expecting faster growth for the year as a whole than the government and the central bank.
According to the first estimate released by the Central Statistical Office on Wednesday, Hungary’s gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 4.9 percent in the second quarter and by 5.1 percent in the second quarter, according to seasonally and calendar adjusted data. GDP grew by 1.1 percent, compared to the previous quarter. (MTI)
