Analysts: industrial production data indicate a slowdown in economic growth
Economic growth peaked in the first quarter and a slowdown in GDP growth started in the second quarter, according to analysts interviewed by MTI on the first estimate on industrial production in June.
According to the first estimate released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Wednesday, industrial production in June was 1.4 percent lower than a year before. However, the working-day effect adjusted figures show an increase of 4.1 percent, because two working days less were in June this year than in the same month of last year. (MTI)
