Analysts: inflationary pressures are still present in the economy
The Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Tuesday that in July consumer prices were on average 4.6 percent higher than a year before, rising by an average of 0.5 percent in one month.
Virovácz Péter, a senior analyst at ING Bank, said that the slowdown in inflation in July was mainly due to base effects, the KSH continued to measure significant general price increases on a monthly basis; According to the expert, significant inflationary pressures can still be felt in the Hungarian economy.
