Analysts: household consumption will be the engine of economic growth
Household consumption will be the driving force of economic growth – analysts interviewed by MTI evaluated the data of the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
According to the data of the Central Statistical Office (KSH), gross earnings increased by 6.0 percent and net earnings increased by 7.6 percent in May, compared to a year before. Excluding the pubic employees, the growth was 6.6 and 8.3 percent.
Suppan Gergely analyst of the Savings Bank said that he expects a wage growth of 5.5 percent this year, which is due to tax changes, may result in a 7 percent increase in net incomes. (MTI)
