Saving food for people in need
The fundraising campaign of the Hungarian Food Bank Association delivered a record 139 tonnes of food to nearly 28,000 people in need.

The donation collection was carried out in 213 stores in 104 municipalities, with an average of 129kg of long shelf life food arriving at Tesco, ALDI and Auchan stores every minute. Food Bank director András Nagygyörgy told: more than 3,000 volunteers participated in the campaign, and 27,800 five-kilo bags of food will be distributed among people in need. //
