Tesco and Mars launch action against food waste to support the Hungarian Food Bank Association
Food waste is an important issue for Tesco. Food waste is being reduced by the company’s daily activities and several programs. Examples include the support action from May 16 to May 30, announced by the store chain in collaboration with Mars.
Within the framework of the action, the partners offered one percent of the value of Mars products sold in the designated Tesco hypermarkets to the Hungarian Food Bank Association, which will be supplemented with the same amount by Tesco at the end of the campaign. The Food Bank finances the collection of food packages and their delivery to the needy.
