Participants gathered on 7 October 2025 in the Mesterművek business club – organised by Hungarian Product Nonprofit Kft. – to listen to presentations that gave an insight into the latest market and geopolitical trends and the challenges SMEs have to face.

Economist Elemér Terták called attention to the fact that food security will be at the forefront of geopolitical events in the coming period. Investment expert György Jaksity, founder and board member of Concorde Értékpapír Zrt. shared his thoughts on two current phenomena: the expansion of the Chinese manufacturing industry and the euphoria surrounding AI.

As generational change will become a pressing issue for many domestic SMEs, the guests invited by Hungarian Product Kft. – Brigitta Soós, sales director of Soós Tészta Kft., Csaba Fieszl, director of the Rural and Regional Development Support Unit and Ottó Vég, the CEO of 3rdGEN Zrt. talked about related topics, e.g. how to prepare for generational change, how to find a balance between innovation and respect for tradition, and in what situations it is crucial to bring in an external manager.
