The Hungarian melon is of high quality. The production area has slightly decreased due to the pandemic, but its yield has increased, so it has plenty of access to the domestic market and exports, said the Ministry of Agriculture’s Deputy State Secretary for Agriculture

Everyone gets a melon.

Tarpataki Tamás emphasized that Hungary is the fourth largest melon grower in Europe after Spain, Greece and Italy. “Hungarian melons are world-class not only in quantity but also in quality,” he said. (MTI)
