Lidl satisfied with Latvian market entry
German discounter Lidl is satisfied with its first year in the Latvian market. Lidl opened 15 stores in the Baltic state on 7 October 2021. According to data from NielsenIQ, Lidl’s market share nearly reached 10% in 2022. Today the discounter already has 23 stores in Latvia and it plans to open minimum three more in Riga.
