Exotic coffee specialties have arrived at Fresh Corners
The range of Fresh Corners, one of the largest chain stores in Hungary and the region, is expanding with a classic (unique blend made according to its own recipe) and a single origin (selected according to growing area) coffee specialty. MOL will gradually introduce coffee specialties grown in authentic growing areas but roasted in Hungary in other countries of the region.
The company involved more than two thousand customers from six surrounding countries in the testing of the new coffee specialties that will soon enrich Fresh Corner’s drink menus. Central Europe’s largest coffee shop chain – which has a total of 287 units in 285 filling stations and two separate stores in this country – places great emphasis on the development of services in addition to continuous expansion. In the latter, the most decisive factors are the demands and feedback from the customers: MOL’s goal with the current developments is also to put fresh and dynamic coffee specialties on the customers’ tables that match the tastes of local consumers as much as possible.
MOL’s gas station network has long been more than a simple gas station chain: they pay particular attention to providing visitors with a variety of opportunities to recharge and refresh themselves with increasingly diverse gastronomic experiences. They are now present in 10 countries of the region with a total of more than 2,000 filling stations – serving 10 million returning customers. Fresh Corner is already one of the largest store networks in the region, and due to MOL’s Shape Tomorrow 2030+ strategy, development will continue in the future – both in terms of coverage, the content of the offer, and the range of products and services.
More than 11 million servings of coffee were sold in Fresh Corners in Hungary in the past year – this means an average of 21 cups of coffee per minute.
