More and more Hungarians are buying from foreign webshops
The number of online purchases and customers in Hungary is growing year by year, 3.3 million of the adult population buy online and more than 2 million of them have already ordered products from abroad, mainly from China, according to a representative survey conducted by GKI Digital.
According to a survey sent to MTI on Tuesday, 14.8 million orders came from abroad in 2019, 16 percent of which came from EU countries, 84 percent, more than 12 million products from third countries, and about 70 percent from China. Hungarians who shop online from abroad order goods from other countries on average 7 times a year. (MTI)
