This year Lidl earned the Top Employer 2022 recognition. Nine years ago the discounter launched the “Lidl for Hungarian suppliers” programme, and today they are working with nearly 470 domestic suppliers, and shoppers can choose from more than 4,000 Hungarian products.
In 2021 Lidl purchased nearly 60% of its products from Hungarian suppliers. 100% of the fresh poultry and pork they sell come from Hungarian farms. In 2021 the discounter took the products of more than 170 Hungarian food companies to the Lidl stores of 28 countries. //
