Retail indebtedness is growing
Sales of loans fell, but repayments were also lower in the second quarter, with barely a third of personal loans being paid in than in the first quarter – napi.hu wrote. The quality of the portfolios still looks great, yet the banks can’t be calm, it is just the pre-storm silence.
Household loans are developing quite shockingly during the coronavirus pandemic. Many people do not repay the loans, the quality of the loan portfolios is still improving, and the accumulated debt is only growing, according to the latest data of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank (MNB).
