Fewer people buy counterfeit products, according to a study
Only 11 percent of the population has bought counterfeit products in the past year, but fewer and fewer Hungarians are recognizing their harmful effects on – the National Anti-Counterfeiting Board (HENT) states in its most recent annual consumer survey.
According to research submitted to MTI on Wednesday, the proportion of buyers of counterfeit products was the lowest in the last ten years between July 2019 and July 2020, but also points out that 80 percent of the population would not buy products from counterfeit or dubious sources at all. (MTI)
