An advertising competition was organized for university students
For the second time this year, COPYTITION, the Faculty of Economics of the University of Szeged and the advertising agency Four Creation, organized the COPYTITION creative competition, the mission of which is to give students a glimpse into the world of advertising and arouse the interest of as many talented young people as possible in the profession.
The competition was supported by Goodwill Pharma, one of the country’s most prestigious brands connected to Szeged, who, in addition to giving a task and sharing a current communication challenge with the contestants, also provided practical places for the members of the winning team. As a result, the competition is not only a bullet point in the resume, but a real passport to the profession.
The competition treats cooperation between different fields as a top priority, so the contestants could apply for three classic advertising agency jobs, strategist, creative copywriter and graphic designer. 16 teams took part in the 4-day creative competition, which, in addition to campaign planning, also had to pay special attention to the implementation of ideas. In addition to defining goals, target groups, messages, mediums and metrics, the teams had to illustrate their concepts with specific ad creatives. Copytition is a long-term initiative that, according to the organizers’ plans, will be held nationally in the coming years, thus connecting talents, agencies and brands.
