Gelatissimo and Intergastra are professional exhibitions at the same time, in one place
After a four-year hiatus, INTERGASTRÁ, the leading fair for gastronomy and the hotel industry, was held in Stuttgart, where the world of hospitality meets. The emphasis was clearly on the exchange of professional experience, learning from each other and the development that can be achieved through cooperation. Between February 3 and 7, 88,000 visitors from 98 nations and representatives of the hospitality industry were able to learn about fresh ideas and new concepts.
The products of more than 1,300 exhibitors, including well-known companies and start-ups, as well as their solutions to the current challenges of the HoReCa industry, were presented in various thematic halls of INTERGASTRA. The fair covered the following areas: “Home furnishings and tableware”, “Digital solutions, services and IT”, “Beverages”, “Outdoor catering”, “Coffee, sweets”, “Kitchen technology”, “Food products”, “Associations and organizations ” and “Ice Cream”. In addition to the companies’ product presentations, the fair offered an extensive supporting program with panel discussions, lectures, seminars and workshops, as well as various competitions.
The GELATISSIMO ice cream fair – which, as usual, took place in parallel with INTERGASTRÁ – featured interesting live workshops of Europe’s best ice cream makers and ice cream masters, as well as exciting competitions such as the Grand Prix GELATISSIMO and Intercoppa.
Another highlight of the Stuttgart fair was the impressive special presentation “OUTDOOR. AMBIENTE. LIVING” in the exhibition park, where the exhibiting companies presented their innovative solutions for sun and weather protection for outdoor hospitality under real conditions.
More than 1,300 exhibitors, including well-known companies and young start-ups, presented their products and solutions to the current challenges of the hospitality and hotel industry in the various themed halls of INTERGASTRA. The fair is divided into the following areas: “Furniture and tableware”, “Digital solutions, services and IT”, “Beverages”, “Outdoor catering”, “Coffee, confectionery and vending machines”, “Kitchen technology”, “Food” and “Associations and organizations”. INTERGASTRA set new priorities this year with FOCUS VENDING, which was designed and implemented with the help of the German Auto Industry Association (BDV), as well as the hall of digital solutions. In addition to company exhibitions, the fair offered a wide-ranging support program with talks, lectures, seminars and workshops, as well as various competitions.
