Magazine: A bite of heaven
After 83 years, Hungarian confectioners are once again making a contribution to the eucharistic congress.
Paying tribute to the 52nd International Eucharistic Congress (NEK), the guild organised the NEK Dessert competition. There were 16 competition entries, from which 7 qualified for the final. The jury decided that the best of these was A Bite of Heaven by Zsolt Karl (Karl Confectionery, Dunaharaszti): a pastry made of Pozsony-style dough with a rich fruit filling.
