Magazine: A pack of chewing gum and a box of marijuana, please!
According to a Bloomberg report, published by Convenience Store News in August, sales in the marijuana segment of FMCG products can reach USD 50 billion by 2026. In the USA a growing number of states are legalising marijuana. For instance in the state of Washington 500 retailers sell these ‘recreational’ products and for 2018 a sales value of USD 2 billion is forecasted. Melissa Vonder Harr, marketing director of iSEE Store Innovations opines that can transform the ‘gas-smokes-cokes’ offering of convenience stores to ‘gas-smokes-tokes’. //
