Why is Czech e-shop entrepreneur skipping Slovakia and opening his next e-shop in Hungary?
At the new TaPcon retail congress, which is being held in Senec, Slovakia (just outside of Bratislava) on May 14, Tomáš Čupr from the widely successful food e-shop www.rohlik.cz will join a panel of other experts on the topic of e-shops to discuss the future of online food retailing in Slovakia and Central Europe as a whole. Tomáš will explain why he decided not to open a branch of Rohlik at this point and instead to focus his efforts on the Hungarian market.
The main topic of the panel discussion is WILL SLOVAKS LEARN TO BUY FOOD IN E-SHOPS? It will analyze the situation in online FMCG purchases both in Slovakia and abroad and will look at why some markets are not as developed as others, for example, the Czech Republic. What prevents more food and drugstore e-shops from getting started? What is the customer’s relationship to online purchases? Can we expect more sales of fresh goods over the internet in the future?Any retailer considering opening an e-shop or any supplier looking to sell through them won’t want to miss this panel discussion at TaPcon on May 14.
