Coca-Cola took over the confectionery company
Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company takes over the leading Serbian confectionery company, the Bambi in Požarevac from the Mid Europa partners London-based investment fund – Világgazdaság Online wrote after the Magyar Szó. The value of the transaction is 260 million euros (82.4 billion HUF at the 317 HUF / euro exchange rate).
Referring to Coca-Cola HBC, the Hungarian-language portal writes that the acquisition process is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2019, and that Bambi will have new opportunities for development in Serbia and in the region, and may expand with complementary product categories.
