Until now, the most advances have been paid to farmers in Békés County
On October 16, the advance payment of direct agricultural subsidies to farmers began, in which Békés County is in first place nationally, the Békés County Government Office announced on Friday in a statement to MTI.
They wrote that 13,042 producers in Békés submitted a unified application, and by October 24, 9,224 farmers had been paid HUF 5.7 billion in advance. The maximum amount of the advance can be no more than 70 percent of the total support. An advance can only be paid if an administrative or on-site inspection is not in progress. The managing authority also determined the support titles affected by the advance payment and the maximum amount of the advance that can be paid. The actual amount of the subsidies is affected by the forint/euro exchange rate every year, this year they are paid on the basis of 389.5 forints/euro.
The advance of the basic support can be no more than HUF 37,972 per hectare
Small and medium-sized farms with an area of less than 1,200 hectares receive additional support of up to 150 hectares. In the framework of the redistribution subsidy, a maximum of HUF 22,382 can be paid in advance for the first 10 hectares, and a maximum of HUF 12,325 in advance per hectare between 10 and 150 hectares, they wrote. The subsidy advance for ewes tied to production is a maximum of HUF 8,092 per individual, the subsidy for fattening bulls is HUF 17,782, while the amount for dairy cows is HUF 90,487. Farmers who require support for extensive fruit growing can count on a maximum advance of HUF 52,182 per hectare, in the case of intensive fruit growing, this is a maximum of HUF 99,340. The advance payment period will end on November 30, and the partial payment period will follow from December 1, the Békés County Government Office announced.
