The price of food and alcoholic beverages have risen
In June, consumer prices were on average 0.6 percent higher than a year earlier, while compared with May consumer prices rose by 0.2 percent – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Wednesday.
The data corresponds to the expectations of the analysts: Analysts in London expected an annual inflation of 0.6-0.7 percent in June in Hungary, and they expect that the rate of price increase will grow sharper in the future, due to basis effects. However, the analysts of the City still not count with the tightening of the Hungarian monetary policy. (MTI)
