The story of Plus began in Germany in 1972. Within a short time, there were a thousand Plus stores. Their expansion in Eastern Europe began in 1992. In 2000, Plus repositioned itself in accordance with their slogan “Minute prices”, which allowed them to become one of the three leading discount store chains in Germany. Today, they are present in 96 cities with a total of 168 stores. In each Plus store, price policy reflect the true discount store philosophy, while assortments are large. Smaller stores keep 2,000 items, while the larger ones stock 2,200.
