Fashion, drones and sustainability – the new face of agriculture at the AgriTech InnoExpo event
Robots, artificial intelligence, solar panels, vertical farms – and a fashion show where the tractor is the main character. On March 5-6, 2026, one of the most beautiful locations in Budapest, the Vajdahunyad Castle – Hungarian Agricultural Museum will host the AgriTech InnoExpo 2026 event, which will show that the future of agriculture is not distant science fiction, but is already here among us – and it affects the lives of all of us. It is not only a professional event, the organizers are expecting city visitors, families, students, and young people who are considering a career choice.
The new face of agriculture: greener, smarter, closer to people
What does the economy of tomorrow look like?
One where drones spray precisely and quietly, reducing the use of chemicals. One where the tractor navigates with GPS, the irrigation system can be controlled from a mobile phone, and the energy supply is provided by solar panels and wind turbines.
Norbert Kovács, the event’s creator and main organizer, emphasized that the focus of AgriTech InnoExpo is the relationship between people and technology. The goal is not only to increase efficiency, but also to create a sustainable, livable future.
– The agriculture of the future can be not only more productive, but also greener and closer to people. The event focuses on the key areas that will determine the agriculture of the future: data-based, circular farming, artificial intelligence, robotics and renewable energy sources. Visitors will be able to see first-hand the innovations that are opening a new era in agriculture – from precision, drone-based crop protection to urban vertical farms to intelligent animal husbandry systems – emphasized the main organizer, who added:
– In the panel discussions titled “AI in Agriculture”, experts will demonstrate how algorithms can help increase crop yields, reduce weather risks and use resources more efficiently. Within the framework of the “Green Energy Focus” program, interested parties can learn about the latest developments in solar and wind energy, as well as energy storage solutions, while in the Smart Farm section, everything from water management to automated building management will be presented in the spirit of sustainable operation. One of the highlights of the event is the Green Transition Day, where experts will talk about how to put the sun and wind to work on farms and how to store energy in batteries.
The panel discussions will feature key figures in agriculture, including:
Imre Hubai (Ministry of Agriculture) – presentation of Hungary’s drought strategy,
Dr. Béla Munkácsy (ELTE) – on the role of wind energy,
Dr. Péter Póti (MATE) – on the relationship between drought and animal husbandry,
Ákos Juhász (Precíziósgazda.hu) – on drone solutions,
Petra Inotay (FIVOSZ) – on the perspective of young entrepreneurs.
The message of the event is clear: there is an answer to the challenges of climate change if science and nature work together.
On the “innovation walk”, children can learn about robotics interactively, while the career fair offers live connections to future agricultural professionals.

Perhaps the most surprising program of the expo is the AgriTech Fashion Show. As the closing event of the second day, a full-fledged fashion show will see models take to the runway with precision tools, innovative workwear, and high-tech accessories. The message of the organizers is clear: the modern farmer is now just as innovative and cool a professional as a startup founder or engineer.
The spectacular meeting of tradition and cutting-edge technology within the historic walls of Vajdahunyad Castle is guaranteed to provide a memorable experience.
Agriculture of the future:
It can produce fresh food even in an urban environment,
offers prospects for young entrepreneurs,
and proves that sustainability is not a trend, but a necessity.
Let’s meet on March 5-6 at Vajdahunyad Castle!
If you are curious about how the Hungarian countryside will change in the coming years, if you are interested in a sustainable future, or simply want to see how tractors and fashion meet in a historic castle within its walls, then AgriTech InnoExpo 2026 is an unmissable experience.
