Albert Heijn issues digital bank card
Dutch retailer Albert Heijn has launched a digital debit card, as an additional payment method for customers who order their groceries online. All shoppers need to do is activate their debit card (developed by Adyen, ING, Mastercard and Rabobank) once in the AH app, and then choose the payment method when ordering via the app or at the ah.nl website. The rollout will take place in phases, beginning on 31 October.
