The foreign trade balance turned into a deficit

Import continues to grow dynamically
The trade balance closed last April with a deficit of 558 million euros.
Exports amounted to 9.498 billion euros in July and imports to 9.691 billion euros. Compared to June, the value of exports fell by 9.5 percent and that of imports by 1.8 percent, which may have been due to the decline in the performance of heavy-duty vehicle production, according to industrial production data.
Exports measured in euros were 5.4 percent and imports 8.5 percent higher than in July 2019. (MTI)
